VetScholar - Online Learning

VetScholar is an innovative online learning programme for veterinarians and veterinary nurses which has received outstanding reviews from participants.

VetScholar caters for busy professionals managing continuing education around work, family and other commitments, by offering cost-effective “bite-sized” modules delivered over 6-week periods that can be completed in your own time, place and pace. All you need is access to the internet and email, and 2–4 hours a fortnight to complete each topic. 

Topics support clinical training needs, foster professional interaction and community and provide a gentle introduction to structured learning online. NZVA and NZVNA members earn CPD points and AVA members earn AVA Vet Ed points for each topic completed. Member discounts apply!

One successfully completed VetScholar module is worth 9 NZ Vet Council CPD points.
